EmpowHER Hacks has raised over $23,000 in support from incredible sponsors who believe in the power of young women in tech. With contributions from leading companies like Wolfram, Flatlogic, .xyz, and Interview Cake, we’ve been able to offer participants the tools, mentorship, and resources necessary to dive deep into AI ethics, data science, and machine learning. Our sponsors’ generosity allows us to provide an enriching environment where participants can focus on innovation and creativity without financial barriers.
In just one weekend, EmpowHER Hacks hosted 100 hackers from diverse backgrounds, all united by a passion for technology and social impact for diversifying the field of AI for women. Participants collaborated on projects that leveraged AI to solve real-world problems, all while learning from mentors in the industry and attending workshops that broadened their knowledge of data science, ethics, and coding. From ideation to execution, these young innovators crafted solutions that reflected their unique perspectives and the values of social responsibility.
Reaching participants across 44 cities, EmpowHER Hacks has created a truly global community of aspiring women technologists. From San Francisco, Algeria, France, Egypt, and India to Singapore, our participants bring local perspectives to global challenges. This cross-cultural collaboration has allowed us to foster an environment where diversity of thought drives innovation, with each participant contributing a unique lens to how technology can solve pressing social issues. Our reach spans across borders, proving that empowering women in technology is a mission that transcends geography.
